Alexis C.W. Jackson

Program Associate, Education and Workforce Program

Alexis joined the Center in August 2021 and currently serves as the Program Associate for Education and Workforce Development team overseeing the internship programs. She joins the Center with 20 years of administrative support experience with over ten years spent working in the healthcare administrative field. Her strong communication skills and ability to quickly pick up new skills has allowed her to work throughout several organizations in varying capacities: Medical Department Secretary at Howard University Hospital, Senior Executive Assistant for Amtrak, and Operations Analyst with NCQA.

The proud HBCU graduate has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Anthropology from Howard University. The product of a military family, Alexis has developed an eclectic sense of culture through living in nine different cities throughout her lifetime. When she isn’t putting her organizational skills to use, you can find her nurturing her green thumb through gardening and floral design, painting, or reading a good book.
