Joshua Boger Innovative Educator Award

The Joshua Boger Innovative Educator Award recognizes a New England teacher for exemplary teaching and educational programming in the life sciences. The award was named in honor of Joshua Boger, Ph.D. to recognize his sustained commitment to excellence in science education. The award comes with a $2,500 grant for the teacher to support their own professional development.

Joshua Boger Teacher Fellows Program

The Joshua Boger Teachers Fellows Program was established to support teachers’ pursuit of additional training opportunities and graduate credit in the life sciences. The award was named in honor of Joshua Boger, Ph.D. to recognize his sustained commitment to excellence in science education.  Through this program, MassBioEd will offset the cost of eligible graduate courses or training programs for teachers that are involved in our ACCESS program or are extensively using BioTeach curricula in their classrooms. Henri A. Termeer Student Scholarship

In celebration of Henri A. Termeer’s commitment to scientific discovery and mentorship of aspiring and accomplished scientists, the MassBioEd Henri A. Termeer Student Scholarship program annually recognizes one outstanding student who plans to enroll or is currently enrolled in an eligible 2- or 4-year life sciences undergraduate program as described below. Candidates for this award must possess an academic record marked by a commitment to excellence and a demonstrated interest in the life sciences and biotechnology, with aspirations for a future career in the life sciences.
