Description

Biotechnology Project Management offers a practical, industry-specific approach to managing projects within the biotechnology sector. Tonya Pimentel is a seasoned leader with 30 years of experience spanning the Cell & Gene Therapy, Vaccine, Biotech and Medical Device sectors. A Project Management Professional (PMP) and ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Tonya has a proven track record of leading high-stakes initiatives, including facility startups, the remediation of quality systems under consent decrees, and the successful commercialization of complex biologics and gene therapies. As an instructor, Tonya brings a practical, “on-the-floor” perspective to Project Management, focusing on how strategic oversight and cross-functional leadership drive innovation and patient safety in the life sciences.
