BioTalent is MassBioEd’s workforce development arm which illuminates the many pathways into life sciences careers. Apprenticeships and soft skills classes offer alternative training that opens doors, particularly for historically underrepresented populations. Professional training courses, designed by industry professionals, help the incumbent workforce build critical skills for continued success. Our courses offer a wide selection of learning experiences designed by industry experts that will enhance working professionals’ essential skills, providing long term benefits for career growth and leadership opportunities.

BioTalent conducts ongoing research on industry development, employer needs, and projected hiring trends. MassBioEd then utilizes that information to build partnerships and initiatives that align traditional and non-traditional training with industry needs. We engage students via exploratory site visits to colleges and companies, along with career information delivered by industry volunteer Career Ambassadors.
