Description

Building & Managing a High Performing Team is intended to help leaders at all levels in the biotech and biopharma industries improve how well they participate in and lead teams. The course focuses on principles that enhance leaders’ collaboration skills and help them to better model effective collaboration for others. Participants will consider how to address some of the typical dysfunctions and challenges that can diminish a team’s effectiveness.

Instructor

Matt Mirisola
Human Resources Consultant

Matt has served as a leadership coach and consultant for over 20 years, providing training to biotech and pharmaceutical companies. His expertise is in leadership development and coaching, management and employee training, and teambuilding facilitation. Most recently, Matt served as Associate Director of Training and Development at the Genetics Institute, where he was responsible for developing and delivering training seminars on a variety of topics, facilitating teambuilding and problem-solving meetings, and employee coaching and development. Previously, he worked alongside human resources leaders at General Electric Company. He began his career as a Military Intelligence Officer for the United States Army. Matt earned his Master of Public Policy & Management degree in Organizational Behavior at Yale School of Management and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Behavioral Sciences from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
