Celebrating 20 Years

Celebrate 20 years of building a life sciences workforce in 2021!

20 years ago, MassBioEd was founded to focus on high quality educational programming in an effort to build a talented workforce in the Massachusetts. We quickly evolved to bridge the gap between industry needs and higher education training programs. Now, we have moved further to bring people into jobs in the life sciences through our Apprenticeship Program and shifted our approach to work within under-served school districts at the middle and high school levels through our ACCESS Program, forming a sustainable Community of Practice.

Be a Part of our 20th Anniversary

Mark your calendars, MassBioEd will celebrate its 20 years on October 26th, 5:30-8:00pm ET at The UMass Club in Boston, MA at its annual Champions for Biotechnology Education Awards Reception. The event will also be live streamed online for those unable to attend in person.

Our annual signature events provide opportunities to engage with industry and academic professionals and learn about the work being done in the life sciences community to build the next generation of life science workers. Join us in opening career doors to underserved students, building a strong and diverse workforce, and inspiring your employees.

“It is important for students to recognize that, in a lab investigation, there is no right answer. If there were, there would be no need to investigate. We help teachers to recognize that unexpected experimental results often provide the richest learning experience.”
