Wentao Wang is the Automation Reliability and Standards Lead at Pfizer. Wentao graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemical engineering.   After completing his studies, Wentao embarked on his professional journey as an automation engineer. He gained valuable experience working in various industries, honing his skills and expanding his knowledge. Wentao’ s journey continued at Pfizer’s Andover site, where he has been leading automation for nearly two decades. 

As Wentao continues to lead automation efforts at Pfizer, he also initiated the coop program for the Engineering, Maintenance, and Utility group with UMass Lowell and has been managing it for nearly 20 years. Additionally, Wentao serves on the advisory board for the UMass Lowell Chemical Engineering department.
