MassBioEd’s volunteer programs build a critical bridge between classroom and careers. Volunteers from all areas of the life sciences industry share their experiences and enthusiasm with students considering a career in the life sciences, and adults contemplating a career change or advancement. All professionals from the life sciences industry with various skills and professions are welcome to participate.

Through Compass Collaborative, a partnership between MassBioEd and Life Sciences Cares Boston, volunteers can choose STEM education and career development volunteer opportunities they are interested across different nonprofit organizations. Relevant training and material are provided to volunteers before they are matched with engagements that align with their interests. Volunteer opportunities can be viewed here. MassBioEd volunteer opportunities include classroom visits, career panels, informational sessions, mentorship, on-site tours, and more.

If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the intake form below. A volunteer coordinator will reach out to you based on your interests and connect you with the appropriate opportunities!
