Exploring Photosynthesis

This workshop is remote and takes place on Zoom 

Using the floating disk technique, participants do a simple photosynthesis experiment that allows them to gather quantitative data on the effect of light on photosynthesis. Hesitant to try a floating disk experiment? Extensive field testing by BioTeach instructors has been done to ensure that this new and improved procedure works and provides measurable results. Teachers can use this lab to allow students the opportunity for self-designed experimentation. Once students have mastered the basic techniques, teachers can allow them to design their own experiment to test new variables.
