Ken Adams

Ken Adams is Professor of Biological Sciences at Bridgewater State University. Ken is a cell and molecular biologist at Bridgewater State University where he teaches and conducts research with a team of undergraduate and Master’s students. His research interests focus on molecular mechanisms that regulate cell behavior with a focus on the EGR family of transcription factors and their coregulators NAB1 and 2. Current projects are characterizing novel post-translational modifications of NAB2 as well as the role that liquid-liquid phase separation plays in modulating NAB2 activity. Dr. Adams’ additional roles at the university have included Director of the university’s Undergraduate Research Program and Chair of the Department of Psychology.
