Exploring antibiotic resistance and human genetics with gel electrophoresis

Through two hands-on labs, participants will explore the topics of antibiotic resistance and human genetic variation (forensics) through DNA gel electrophoresis.

This workshop is offered to two different audiences:

1) Teachers enrolled in the graduate class. If enrolled in the graduate. course, you will receive the equipment and reagents needed to complete this lab in real time during the workshop. This is the first required workshop for those enrolled in the graduate class.

2) Any teacher. Any teacher that wants to participate remotely and watch the labs as demonstrations is welcome to register. As a demonstration, this workshop qualifies for 3 PDPs
