Make a Great Match: Interviewing with the Candidate Experience in Mind

The best talent is always in high demand. Companies that hire the best talent gain a competitive advantage.  A strategic, well-executed hiring process can make the difference in losing a great candidate or hiring a great employee.  An important concept to keep in mind throughout the process is the ‘candidate experience’.

When you have limited time to interact with a candidate, you need to maximize that time and gain insights to make a critical decision – a hiring decision.  Missed hiring decisions are costly – how do you avoid the mistakes?  It takes some strategy, planning and effort.

This course provides practical experience following a structured hiring process. You will focus on ‘behavioral event interview’ questions that help you predict future performance of a potential candidate and how to turn the professional skills information into solid data for hiring decisions.

At the end of the workshop, participants can expect to be able to:

  • Optimize the candidate experience;
  • Structure an informative interview that is strategic, legal, unbiased, and uses different types of questions;
  • Use a data-driven approach to make smart candidate hiring decisions.
