Exploring Photosynthesis and Respiration (Cambridge)

Do you want fun labs to investigate photosynthesis, respiration, and enzymes? Learn how to create algae and yeast balls by encapsulating algae or yeast in sodium alginate.  Then use the model system you’ve created to study photosynthesis, respiration, and enzymology through a series of student-centered investigations.

Participants will receive student lab protocols, teacher instruction manuals, and curricular support resources to implement these labs in the classroom. This workshop qualifies for 10 PDPs based upon completion of the designated assessments.
