Basic Biotechnology Skills and Equipment for your Classroom (Cambridge)

Looking to jumpstart your biotech lab curriculum? Need a refresher on the basics?  Discover several engaging activities that will have your students pipetting like pros and making solutions with ease. Participants will also explore dye and DNA gel electrophoresis, and bacterial transformation.

This workshop qualifies for 10 PDPs based upon completion of the designated pre- and post-workshop assignments. This workshop is also the first of three that would meet the requirement to earn graduate credit through our partnership with Westfield State University.  For more information on receiving graduate credit by attending BioTeach workshops, please contact Michelle Mischke.

To meet MIT oversite and safety requirements, participants are required to attend a safety training which begins at 8:30 am sharp.
