In this workshop, you will practice the bacterial culturing techniques needed for many of the labs. You will practice handwashing and pipetting techniques with fluorescent indicators, prepare liquid and solid growth media without an autoclave, learn tricks for quickly and easily making a wide variety of different media, and explore antibiotic resistance and growth inhibition of different bacterial strains.
