Thank you, UMass Boston, for your generous in-kind donation to host MassBioEd Foundation’s 8th Annual Life Sciences Workforce Conference.

Address: UMass Boston Campus Center, 100 William T Morrissey Blvd, Boston, MA 02125

The conference will be held at UMass Boston’s Campus Center. Registration will be on the 2nd floor, located next to the Information Desk.

Presentations, sessions, and networking events will be held primarily in the Ballroom area, located on the 3rd floor. See the agenda for specifics.

Parking & Transportation

The closest parking lot to the conference is located at University Lot D (#12 – University Dr N, Boston, MA 02125), which is about a 10-minute walk, following the pedestrian pathway, Beacons Walk, passing the University Hall (#11), leading to the Campus Center (#1). It’s approximately .5 miles away from the conference location.

The closest covered lot available is the West Garage (#9 – University Dr W, Boston, MA 02125). Follow the pedestrian walking pathways that will hug the current construction zone, passing the Integrated Sciences Center (#5), Healey Library (#4), and McCorrmack Hall (#3), leading you to the Campus Center (#1). In the case that any weather comes about, there is a shuttle located at the Integrated Sciences Center (#5). The shuttle comes around every 15 minutes or so. If possible, it may be quicker to travel by foot as it’s a .6 mi. walk, which is approximately 10 min.

EV Charging Stations UMass Boston prides itself on providing sustainable, alternative methods of transportation. Located in the West Garage (#9), you can find EV Charging Stations. For further instructions, visit here.

Parking Fees: $15/day

Pick-Up/Drop-Off Locations for Uber/Lyft/Taxi/Private Cab The closest pick-up/drop-off location is at the front entrance of the Campus Center (#1).

Local Train The subway’s Red Line and commuter rail’s Old Colony Line will both stop at the MBTA’s JFK/UMass Station. UMass Boston Shuttle will go between the local train stop and campus.
