Catherine D. Bouthillier is the Senior Manager of Healthcare Partnerships at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), who consults with Life Science organizations on creating customized training solutions and R&D plans.   

Her ability to quickly access and leverage WPI’s various external facing facilities: Biomanufacturing Education and Training Center (BETC), Cell Engineering Research Equipment Suite (CERES), PracticePoint and WPI’s service centers & faculty expertise, allows companies to accelerate skill development and minimize research commercialization timelines. 

Prior to WPI, Catherine held executive roles overseeing multi-state operations exceeding $50 million in revenue. She excels in forging partnerships with industry leaders, regulatory authorities, and governmental agencies, consistently driving year-over-year profit growth while optimizing costs.  

Catherine passionately leverages her experiences as a patient, caregiver and strategist to bridge the gaps between academia and industry. Outside of work, she volunteers at Umass Medical Pediatric ED, enjoys time with her sons, and pursues her love for the arts.
