The Center for Stem Cell Research and Regenerative Medicine is a new facility funded by UMass Medical School and the Massachusetts Life Science Center. The programs that comprise the center are an online registry, a "Bank" or storage facility of stem cell lines, research labs and a department dedicated to training and education. The training and education department has a variety of programs for K-12 students, college students, educators and the community. Our center has two teaching laboratories available for hands on lab experiences for both students and teachers. We have lesson plans and lab activities available or you can help us to design the perfect activity to fit into your curriculum. We are also available for tours.
