  • An Overview of Clinical Research - Begins September 23
    This in-depth program examines the many details that must be considered in the clinical research process, including Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and corporate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Program faculty are practicing professionals who have spent years as part of clinical research teams in biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.

  • Leadership Training Program for Scientists - Begins September 28
    Participants of this course can look forward to improving their performance and comfort in leadership opportunities, while participants’ organizations can strengthen partnering and communications between participants and the customers, users, and staff with whom they work. This course features 360 surveys for each participant to provide objective information about how key others perceive their communications effectiveness.

  • BioBasics: Biotech for the Non-Scientist - October 28 to 29, 2010
    Are you a non-scientist working in or with the biotech industry? Do you need to better understand the science & technology driving the industry? This two day seminar takes an in-depth look at the science that drives the industry so that everyone, not just scientists, can understand the science.

    Educating Biotechnicians for Future Industry Needs

    How to strengthen technician education to meet the needs of the biotechnology industry was the question before the 50 people who participated in the Educating Biotechnicians for Future Industry Needs conference from April 28 to 30 in Scottsdale, Ariz. The participants were from higher education, secondary schools, industry, government, and professional organizations. This report summarizes their findings.
