SciWeb is creating an industry platform for the Life Science Industry on the Internet.
We believe that with the explosion of new and valuable information on the World Wide Web, there is a growing need for a Web Site in which Industry Specific Information is concentrated and organized, to allow the Professionals in the field to get their work done in a timely way. SciWeb has been created to aid in that effort.
Our efforts are being concentrated in several directions -
organizing the information on the Web in a meaningful system
collecting and presenting Life Science content in a context-sensitive manner
providing easy-to-use online communication tools allowing practitioners in the field to interact
creating business-oriented showcase areas through which companies servicing the Life Science Industry can communicate their advances to the working community
The Web is a rapidly expanding and changing environment. We intend to keep pace with as many of the useful changes as possible and will align our Web Site with useful, new technologies as they appear. In this effort, we encourage our readers to submit ideas and pointers to new resources as they appear.
