Careers and Pathways in Biotechnology

This film is for the purpose of delivering a good vehicle that community colleges and 4-year programs and possibly high schools can have a sense to look at apprenticeship programs and internship programs that are associated with biotechnology programs within our group so that this can be used nationwide for best practices for other community colleges.

What is Biotechnology? - This is playable multimedia presentation link on the front page of BIOCOM's Online Workforce Center website that explores biotechnology, its applications, and how one can become a part of the biotechnology field. The presentation also introduces the viewer to BIOCOM's online Education and Training center. There are five different sections to click on and a short video/slideshow will play. The five sections are: 1) What is Biotechnology? 2) Medical Applications; 3) Agricultural Applications; 4) Environmental Applications; and 5) How Do I Fit In?
